The Disconnect between Politicos and People!!!!!

In a country, like India which portrays itself proudly as the Largest Democracy, its not good enough when it comes to connection between politicians and people. We find "these" people understanding the importance of public, when it comes to election otherwise they just seem to be uninterested in people.I'm not accusing all the politicians but largely speaking they are not worthy. To manage a country as big as India and to address its issues is not as easy but still things have to be managed and problems have to be solved.

The Government outwardly has only the Chief minister in the state and Prime Minister in the country as their heads. If any money for development is allocated, the same money doesn't reach the place where development happens. It follows a hierarchical route where people at every level grab as much as they can and after all these allocations when it finally reaches people it results in sub standard development recurring further losses. Though, many movies, articles, social demonstrations have been done and many more are still to happen in the future still the mindset of the politicos doesn't seem to change. Most of them have made this service-oriented path as a commercial one with every minister having increased his assets after becoming a people's leader.Even a layman can understand that its public's money which has got into his bank accounts yet no action is taken against him.People from the cinematic sector come into politics just to exploit their fan following into votes but that doesn't mean you can make money from politics and fooling people as they do on screen. It really hurts when these appointed people misuse their powers for upbringing their family, friends and people they favor.

When it comes to voting and when you look at the candidates instead of choosing the good one, people now are comparing all the candidates on who comparatively is less evil. That's when I got this question..Why can't you run a nation without a leader? If every citizen presumes himself as a leader, becomes responsible then there is no need for someone above to guide you.Though, this thought is very abstract I find this option as a better solution instead of having an insufficient leader.

I read a quote somewhere which goes this way, "If you can't be a thermometer at least be a thermostat".I don't ask you to retaliate every bad thing which you come across yet never hesitate to strike back when something goes out of proportion.Only when you react you're human and be a good human.

  2. Hai Ram Thilak...Your Article is so Good and I agree with You.In my View, People in older days needed a leader as many of them were illiterate. In the present era, people are well educated that they know of what's going on,in and around them. So,they should be responsible for their society atleast in a smaller scale. This small development would lead to a larger development, which in turn build a Strong Nation.

Lets Join Hands in building a Strong Nation!!!

    Jai Hind!!!
